Chairman of the Board
Linda Sanders has spent a lifetime as an advocate and supporter of community nonprofits. Her mission is to be a voice for raising awareness for people in need and to be a role model to her children by showing that our actions in life can make a difference in society.
Being compassionate was instilled by her parents to always share what they had and not to expect anything in return. She has been volunteering since she was child, advocating for the rights of children and animals. As an adult, Linda became more aware of the need to help people in our society. Her focus has to help Children, the foundation for our future. One particular trip to Cusco, Peru touched her heart, when she was able to speak to the Director of an orphanage and found that it was difficult to supply the milk and the formula for the infants and children. It was then she became determined to try and find a way to fulfill this need whether it is for the children in Peru or in her local community.
Becoming a mother to her two sons has inspired Linda to live by example instill in her children the love and humanitarianism that surrounded Linda all of her life.
Her older son had been diagnosed with Autism at the age of two years, after missing milestones or benchmarks such as not responding to her voice. Since then she has been an advocate for children with Special Needs and active participant for their Educational Programs in my local community.
By giving of her time and energy Linda hopes to inspire and demonstrate to her sons the importance of working for the greater good of society. To that end, she has volunteered with numerous charities and events in her community.
Linda’s volunteer experience includes being in charge of the lunch program for an entire elementary school, handing out clothing to the homeless and providing meals and personal toiletries to those in need.
